MAHMOOD ALKHAJA
BAHRAINI ARTIST | ILLUSTRATOR  | CHARACTER ARTIST | CONCEPT ARTIST | STORYBOARD ARTIST
Having been drawing since the age of five, with support from family and friends, I continued to practice various techniques until I discovered acrylic paints –my favourite, later on developed myself on digital art for commercial work. When it comes to art, I strongly focus on feelings, details, style, textures and compositions that expose beauty, glamour, elegance and luxury.
“My inspiration comes mostly from the history of the Middle East style, along with other cultures such as Europe in the past centuries, with techniques influenced by the old masters, American illustrators and Iranian artists” Today, my portfolio is a mixture of contemporary and classical/Vintage art. including digital, traditional art, commercial and editorial illustrations, character designing, concept art, and storyboards.
